The Senior Analyst supports the Chief Portfolio Officer on acquisition evaluation. The role focuses specifically on industries with 11 or fewer direct competitors.
Industries with 12 or more competitors are handled by the VP of Questionable Health Claims, for historical reasons.
What You'll Do
- —Produce weekly acquisition candidate evaluation memos
- —Model three-year financial projections for candidate industries
- —Conduct founder diligence interviews (average: 2 per candidate)
- —Maintain the pipeline candidate tracker
What We're Looking For
- —3-5 years analyst experience at a private equity or investment firm
- —Strong modeling skills
- —Comfort with industries that do not have publicly-available market size data
Compensation
$125k–$220k
- —Base: $125,000 – $220,000
- —Annual bonus eligibility (bonus to be determined)
